Ribbed Surface Definition

rendered preview of the definitionI finally managed to find the time to organize and finish a definition I had used quite a few times in the past for fabricating NURB Surfaces. This definition can switch between two cases of ribbed layouts.

      • I meant brep (OSX auto spell check 🙂 changed it to beep, sorry. Yes I downloaded your def and tried it, but got red components brep/brep intersection components telling me it cannot solve intersection because the curves are not breps. I started to replace them with curve/curve intersection but could not find the centre of brep later on in the definition. Somehow it just doesn’t work. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Can you help me? Thank you. Jiri

I HAVE A PROBLEM USING THIS DEFINITION, I MEAN I AM TRYING TO MAKE SOMETHING SIMILAR UN A PROJECT THAT I AM DOING, BUT IN THE DEFINITION THE RIB SURFACE “BOX” IS EMPTY, HOW DID U DO THE PITURES ABOVE? IS THE SURFACE CREATED IN RHINO OR IN GRASSHOPPER? WHEN I SELECT MY RIBBED SURFACE RHINO ALWAYS CRASH WITH THIS DEFINITION, SOME HELP PLEASE, IS MY END OF CARRER PROJECT

    • Hi,
This definition works only in regular (in plan view) surfaces. Meaning rectangular ones. If you surface is different then you might get some issues. If you continue having problems mail me the file and I will take a look when I manage to find some time.

      Regards,
      Marios
